7 June - It's June again and the Gaffers Queens Birthday long weekend regatta is on. I have been really looking forward to the regatta as I do each year however I wasn't able to take the boat out due to an injury I recently sustained. I injured my shoulder and back when I crashed, running at night with Cutty and have been on pain killers all week. I'm seriously hoping I can get it sorted soon as it's really causing me issues. So today I had to be satisfied with watching the boats from a distance.

Below are the boats heading out onto the bay. The weather was perfect.

The great thing about the Gaffers is that there are all types of classic boats from the big luxury yachts to the small couta boats like the one below.

I went up onto the hill to watch the boats and the site was truly spectacular.

9 June - I haven't been able to do any running with Cutty for a week due to my injury but I still make a point of taking Cutty to the park at night to visit the possums. I don't think she has any natural dog instinct whatsoever since these possums can walk right up to her and all she wants to do is check them out. I think she would be quite happy curling up to sleep with them at night.
